Choosing The Right Red - Kook-a-Mango Sally Hansen

Looking for a classic nail polish? Then red is for you. The problem is finding the right red. This can be difficult, just like it might be with finding that perfect red lipstick. It depends on your skin tone.

 If you have fair skin you might go towards a lighter shade. If you have a medium skin tone, you might prefer a rich red. For those with darker skin tones you would want a deep red.

I have fair skin so I went with a lighter shade of red. This specific shade is Sally Hansen's Kook-a-Mango. I absolutely love this polish! The formula is great because it is a 7-in-1 polish which means it has a base coat, strengthener, salon inspired color, top coats, chip-resistance, and gel finish. I have at least 5 different colors with this formula and they are my go to polish when I am in a rush. Right now I am wearing Kook-a-Mango which is a light red with a hint of orange!

L.A. Colors Color Craze Swatches

As promised here are the swatches of L.A. Colors Color Craze that I reviewed in my previous post. Please note that these polishes stain easily so I advise that you use a base coat. The base coat not only protects your nails but it also helps the polish go on smoother. Also I decided against painting my nails 6 separate times so I painted my nails first using the neon orange, and then I painted each nail a different color from the remaining 5 colors. L.A. Colors Color Craze

Hello! My name is Taylor and I love nail polish. My collection just keeps on growing! One of my favorite summer colors are found in the L.A. Colors Color Craze! 

This set has six different neon colors that are perfect for summer! Now usually I find that L.A. Colors nail polish's are thin and chip easily, but this set really impressed me! I only had to do 2 coats of the polish and it lasted a week! One downside to this polish is that the colors are duller on your nails than in the bottle. This was a little disappointing. But overall they are still great colors, they just don't live up to the neon appearance. I will be posting swatches of these within the next week so stay tuned!
