Blue and Green Watercolor Nails

Looking for a new nail design? How about trying watercolor nails. First paint your nails a base color. Then sponge colors that compliment the first onto the nail. This creates nail art that looks like you used watercolors. This past weekend I was wearing a dress with a watercolor design. So I used this technique to do nails to match! Here is the dress and matching nails!

For this look I used Sally Hansen's "Barracuda", the neon blue and green from L.A. Colors color craze that I reviewed earlier, and Kiss' "Masquerade Blue" from their paint and stencil kit! This was also paired with my go to "Double Duty" base and top coat by Sally Hansen. Comment what you think!

Did Someone Say Penguin Nails?

Today people can make anything nail art. I have seen beaches, cupcakes, and my personal favorite, galaxy nails. But when my little cousin asked me to do her nails, I brought up the idea of animals. When I mentioned penguins she became ecstatic! I told her I would try. Here are the results.
Because she is so young her fingernails are very small. This made it quite difficult, but I was able to do it with some imperfections. If you have longer nails this would be even cuter! To do this design I used Orly's "Liquid Vinyl", Essie's "Blanc", and Sally Hansen's "Butterfly Stroke".
Let me know what you think!
